Odysseus' ship sails across a moonlit sea while nymphs watch from the rocks and a temple rises on the cliff above - a black and gold lamp that turns a dark room into a night from ancient Greek myth.
THE DESIGN
The panels build one scene around the lamp: a Greek ship with a striped sail cutting through the waves, a nymph resting on the shore beside ancient columns and an olive tree, two sea nymphs rising from the water below a temple on the cliff, and a big full moon with seagulls and stars over everything. The top is engraved with a gold laurel wreath inside a Greek meander frame. The wood is stained black with gold-painted engraving, and every cut-out - the moon, the waves, the stars and birds - glows in the light color you choose and throws soft patterns on the wall behind.
